Overview
Ronseal Stays White Ultra Tough Paint is a water based paint for interior woodwork that’s highly resistant to knocks, scuffs and scrapes. The increased durability makes it perfect for busy homes and high traffic areas. Along with the drip resistant formulation which makes it easy to apply to skirting boards, doors and windows.

Preparation
Always ensure the sure is clean and free from any contaminates that may effect adhesion
- Lightly sand with a 120 grit sandpaper, working in the direction of the grain.
- If your paintwork is in bad condition and is cracked or peeling sand back to the barewood to provide a smooth surface.
- Wipe with white spirit and a cloth to clean grease, dirt and dust.
- If there are any cracks or holes fill them with an appropriate wood filler.
- If you spot any knots that will ruin your paint job, use a knot blocker to stop them darkening.
Application
Before applying test a small area to ensure you are happy with colour and adhesion.
- Stir the paint thoroughly.
- Using a synthectic brush, apply the paint in the direction of the woodgrain.
- Allow to dry for 4 hours.
- Apply a second coat, it will be touch dry in 30 minutes.
Note: Always follow the manufacturer instructions found on the tin.
Aftercare & Storage
Clean your paintwork as normal to guarantee that your white will stay white. If you get any damage, sand down the area and apply a couple coats to make it as good as new.
