Overview
Suitable for masonry, concrete, wood and metal, Blackfriar Anti Slip Floor Paint offers superb slip resistance and a tough, durable finish. Its aggregated finish provides the total anti slip properties. It's a solvent based floor paint suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Ideal for light industrial or domestic floors.

Not suitable for use over PVC, thermoplastic tiles, quarry tiles, asphalt floors or granolithic concrete. Do not apply it on concrete surfaces treated with alkali containing liquids, areas subjected to rising damp or areas treated with PVA bonding solutions.

Preparation
Ensure the surface to be painted is sound, clean, dry and free from grease or any substance that is likely to to cause problems with adhesion.
- Scrape off any old or flaking paint until you have a firm surface
- Pay special attention to under cars, and make sure all oil, grease, dirt and road salt is completely removed before you start painting.
- Leave new concrete for at least 6 months before applying Blackfriar Professional Anti-Slip Floor Paint.
Application
Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin
- To ensure slip resistance the floor must be kept dry when in use.
- Stir thoroughly. Apply with a brush or roller working the paint in any surface imperfections.
- New or bare surfaces: Apply Blackfriar Professional Solvent Based Floor Sealer followed by 1-2 coats of Blackfriar Professional Anti Slip Floor Paint.
- Previously painted surfaces: Apply 1-2 coats as required.
- If concrete floors are especially smooth, pre-treat with Blackfriar Professional Acid Etch followed by Blackfriar Professional Solvent Based Floor Sealer.
