The Gen2 (released 2020) is the latest iteration of our Aegis belt; the new buckle is made from glass-filled nylon, resulting in increased corrosion resistance, decreased weight, increased convenience when traveling via commercial airline, and a decreased price. The Aegis belt is 1.5" wide and 0.21" thick, and is composed of 2 layers of our proprietary scuba webbing, with an added layer of 1.5" thin colored webbing on the outside.

All components are made here in the USA (webbing, thread, and all parts of the buckle), and we sew them together at our shop in Central Ohio.
